The compact crossover SUV was sold under the General Motors (GM) Saturn brand. At one point in time, the VUE was the best selling Saturn model. It was the first vehicle to use the GM Theta platform upon its introduction in 2002. In 2007, the second generation was debuted for the 2008 model year as a rebadged Opel Antara model. During its time in production, the Saturn Vue was manufactured at the Spring Hill GM plant. Its unibody platform is shared with the Chevrolet Equinox, Pontiac Torrent and the European Opel Antara. During the manufacturer's reorganization in 2009, GM ceased production of the VUE.
