1979 Mercedes-Benz 450 SLC finished with an Astral Silver Metallic exterior and Red leather interior. Driven just 24,612 collector owned miles since new. This 450 SLC was just purchased out of an extensive and well known Mercedes-Benz collection and it is virtually new in every regard. The 8 cylinder engine is strong and powerful and the 3-speed automatic transmission shifts effortlessly through all of the gears. The steering is tight and precise and the brakes feel just great. All of the electronics work properly as well. This really is a remarkable Mercedes-Benz to drive. The interior is stunning. The Red leather seats (207) are in remarkable condition (see pictures) showing virtually no wear at all to any of the seats. The color matched dashboard is like new (looks great with the wood trim and original Becker Mexico radio) and even the carpets don't look or feel like they have been stepped on thanks to the Mercedes-Benz floor mats that have been protecting them. The exterior is what really sets this particular collector grade 450 SLC apart from the rest. The Astral Silver paint is in remarkable condition (see pictures) with no major scratches or dings anywhere at all. The paint is bright and shiny with plenty of luster. Add the optional 14 inch Bundt wheels mounted on great tires and this Mercedes-Benz really does look special. The 1979 Mercedes-Benz 450 SLC really is the ultimate collector car. It has iconic looks (14 longer than the legendary SL), a back seat for more passengers along with all of Mercedes-Benz legendary safety, luxury and reliability.
