Used Lincoln Town Car For Sale

Marked by the Lincoln division of the American automaker Ford Motor Company, the Lincoln Town Car is a model line of full-size luxury sedans. Deriving its name from a limousine body style, Lincoln marked the Town Car from 1981 to 2011, with the nameplate previously serving as the flagship trim of the Lincoln Continental. The Town Car model line was produced across three generations for 30 model years and it served as the flagship sedan of Ford Motor Company, marketed directly against the Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham (and its Cadillac DTS successor).

The full size line of cars were built on the Ford Panther platform and were available in two door and four door variants. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration gave the Lincoln Town Car a Five Star Crash Rating in every category. Even when sales started to decline the Lincoln Town Car remained one of the best selling American luxury cars. Many examples of the Town Car were used for fleet and livery (limousine) services. The Town Car was discontinued in 2011 and at the that time, it was the longest car produced by Ford worldwide, becoming the longest mass-production car sold in North America from 1997 to 2011.
